Pricing

ozeye is prepaid and pay-as-you-go. Most models run at several EU providers, and each request is charged at the price of the provider that serves it, plus ozeye's margin; there are no other fees. The pricing page shows each model's range from the cheapest to the most expensive provider, and each model page and GET /v1/models/catalog list every provider's price, margin included. The usage dashboard and export show which provider served each request. To limit which providers can serve you, block providers in dashboard settings (see Choosing a provider). Prices exclude VAT; the pricing page has a switch to show them including VAT, and checkout always shows the total including VAT before you pay.

How charges are calculated

  • Text generation models usually charge per million input tokens and per million output tokens.
  • Embedding models charge per million input tokens.
  • Cached input tokens (part of a prompt served from a provider cache) are charged at the provider's cached input price, or at its input price where it has none.
  • Transcription models charge per second of audio.
  • Speech (TTS) models charge per million characters of input text.
  • Image models charge per image when priced; models marked free do not charge credits.
  • Missing pricing fails closed unless the catalog entry is explicitly marked free.

Payments

Add credits from Dashboard → Billing or via the top-up endpoints. Minimum top-up is €5; maximum top-up is €1000 (excluding VAT). Credits never expire. VAT is determined at checkout from your billing profile under EU place-of-supply rules: EU consumers pay VAT, EU businesses with a VIES-verified VAT number are reverse-charged, card and bank top-ups from outside the EU pay none; every Monero top-up except one by a VIES-verified EU business includes Dutch VAT, since no location evidence is collected on that rail. A business without a VIES-verified VAT number is treated as a consumer. Consumers in the United Kingdom cannot buy credits. Consumers can withdraw from a top-up within 14 days and get the unused part back; see the terms.
