Data retention & ZDR

ozeye never writes the content of inference requests or responses to its database, logs or backups. The full list of what is stored, and who receives what, is in the privacy policy.

Not stored

• Chat prompt text and message contents.
• Provider response text.
• Audio input contents and transcription text.
• Image prompt text and generated image contents.
• Web search queries and fetched pages.
• IP addresses (held in memory for rate limiting for a few minutes only).

Stored

• Usage metadata per request: time, model, provider, token counts, latency and cost in EUR, with your user and API key id.
• An audit log of account actions (API key created or revoked, top-ups, settings changes).
• Payment records, invoices and your billing profile, required for tax.
• Content you choose to save: notebook files and presets (a preset can hold a system prompt).

Retention windows

• Usage metadata: detailed for 24 months, then monthly totals per account and model, kept 7 years as accounting records.
• Audit log: 12 months.
• Failed usage records awaiting retry: 90 days.
• Revoked API keys: 12 months after revocation.
• Payments, invoices and billing profile: 7 years (Dutch fiscal retention).
• Account email and login data: until account deletion; login sessions expire after 30 days.
• Saved notebook files: until you delete them or your account.
• Backups: at most 30 days, encrypted.
